Today, on 26^th of April, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Padem University Rector, with Mrs. Dina Borovina Director of Pedagogic and Educating Department of Sarajevo Canton and Prof. Dr. Meliha Handžić, University  professor, opened the competition and wished all the best to all students in the evaluation process.

After the detailed inspection of every project, done by the jury consisted of prominent professors, this afternoon we got the winners of the International Burch University Project Olympiad 2012. Among the 48 extraordinary projects, divided in four categories, the best were:

Environment

1^st Place: Nedim Kulašin, Hasan Đapo - Proizvodnja Vodika iz Algi - Gorivo Budućnosti

2^nd Place: Denis Peruničić, Vekas Murselović - Alge-fabrike biodizela i deponije CO2

3^rd Place: Džana Halilović, Amila Jaganjac - Hibridno drveće

Engineering

1^st Place: Ammar Talić - Dream Maker

2^nd Place: Adna Sijerčić - Genetičko inžinjerstvo i biotehnologija lijekova

3^rd Place: Dino Golić, Harun Čavčić - Sistem brana

Web Design

1^st Place: Ernad Šehić, Jasmin Badža - Foto sekcija ETS

2^nd Place: Emir Salihagić - School CMS

3^rd Place: Armin Čomić - Elektronski dnevnik

New Idea

1^st Place: Ademir Biser - I moj problem je bitan

2^nd Place: Timur Čerkez - Encouraging Creativity and Improving Social Cohesion Trough After School Activities

3^rd Place: Elma Mešić, Muamer Isanović - Nasilje nekad i sad - Da li nasilje na TV programima utiče na agresivan odnos medu vršnjacima ?

Beside the monetary awards, all 1st place holders got the 40% scholarship on IBU,  2nd place 30% and 3rd place 20% scholarship for undergraduate studies.

This project was another effort of International Burch University to raise awareness among young people about their responsibility of living and to give them an opportunity to present their solutions for development of society. University is very grateful to everyone who contributed in realization of this project.
